The 8th grade Lady Gladiators hosted Whitney this week at the dome. The Lady Gladiators tangled with the Lady Wildcats for three games. When the dust settled and the smoke cleared, Italy 8th grade was the conqueror.

These are the future Varsity volleyball teams of IHS and the future looks very bright. With winning scores of 26-24 and 25-14, this team is a force to be reckoned with. Coach Jennifer Reeves has been working the Ladies all season and it paid off in a big way, “The girls had a very nice season. I was proud of them for working together to get better and stronger as a team and as volleyball players. The 8th grade finished the season strong with three straight wins. Last night (Monday night) was awesome, Whitney is always difficult team to win against but our girls came out and played their best game and made it look like an easy win.”

The 7th grade girls volleyball finished their season as well. Their scores were Italy 25-23, Whitney 25-6 and 25-21. They will be ready to see the Lady Wildcats and all their other opponents next season. They will be ready.
