More new hires for Italy ISD

In a called meeting last night, the Italy ISD Board of Trustees hired several new employees for the district.

Ms. Lindsey Thompson from Waxahachie was hired to teach jr high level science.

While not new to the district, Mrs. Dora Bassett will now be a full time spanish teacher for the high school. Last year Mrs. Bassett was a part time teacher.

Ms. Jessika Robinson was hired to teach social studies at the high school/junior high school campus as well as the head volleyball coach. An IHS alumni (graduated in 2006), Coach Robinson attended college on volleyball and academic scholarships.

Ms. Melissa Fullmer from Red Oak was hired to teach Stafford Elementary p.e. classes and be the head coach for girls basketball.
