November 7 was a beautiful, sunny day for the Flying Dollar Ranch in Italy to host their make-up Halloween Schooling Horse Show and Playday, which was postponed due to heavy mud the previous weekend. There was nothing but smiles on Saturday night as competitors in the Ellis County Equine Association gathered for their year-end banquet at Lakeview Camp and conference Center in Waxahachie to receive a menagerie of custom made awards in honor of their hard work to win championships throughout the horse show season. This school year they have sold popcorn, helped area churches with different programs, hosted a canned food drive for the local food pantry and have lots more ideas for the rest of the year. Italy youth selected for Junior Board of Directors

Two Italy youth were selected to serve on the Junior Board of Directors for the Texas Shorthorn Association. Bailey Eubank and Bailey DeBorde were selected in the 2008 annual meeting of the Texas Junior Shorthorn Association.
